Isn’t eating good for you so expensive? I mean every time I go to Fresh Market, for John and I, I’m always shocked at our bill. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying for good food especially after last year’s cancer scare. I’m willing to do just about anything to make sure my family and I are putting nothing but the best in our bodies. I know first hand what good nutrition will do for you. I especially don’t mind paying for it when it comes from Whole Foods or someone’s garden. However it’s shocking that a pint of strawberries can be $6.99. Why can’t we have good, healthy, organic food for the same price as all the other stuff?
Even feeding my dogs is expensive. Look I LOVE my dogs with every inch of my being. They are children to me and I will do anything for them. So I’m glad they are getting good food. Especially my big dogs. They are so active every day. They run and “fight” and are always up for long walks and hikes. By the end of the day they are zonked. When they have a perfect, clean bill of health at the vet I couldn’t help but think their good diet had something to do with it. My husband complains every time we buy dog food because our bill is so ginormous. I agree, it is, but only the best for my precious fur babies. Ha!
Speaking of eating good I was given this book by a good friend and the recipes are so good and easy. Why am I telling you about it? I love cookbooks that make cooking easy and fun. This one explains everything in a down to earth fashion. Aka: They tell it like it is. It’s so funny so make sure you have your sense of humor with you.
Enjoy and if you come across any organic food specials let a sista know!
