I finally decided that if I wanted a crib for the babies to come home to I better jump on the bandwagon and get to planning the nursery. So in typical me fashion I headed to Atlanta, with my designer, to get inspiration for what is to be the most amazing room on the planet earth. Well I say that, but to be honest, I was completely lost and confused. When we have done our home remodels, 3 to be exact, I have a clear direction and know exactly what I want. This time it was different. Do I want girly, whimsical and airy, rocker chic, or none of the above? I’m usually a VERY decisive person. What’s wrong with me? Was it pregnancy brain? Could it be that I just don’t know them yet? Was it the pressure of wanting to create the most amazing space for the most amazing blessing that has and will ever happen to me? I don’t know. Here are some of the fabrics that struck my fancy. Please let me know your favorites.
I may have stumbled across a few duds. All I can say is WOW! If you look closely you can see the company liked it so much they made PILLOWS out of this fabric. YIKES.
This swing was probably my most favorite thing I saw all day. I tried talking myself out of it. I told myself it wasn’t practical and had no where to put it. Then a lightbulb came on. It could go in the playroom with a tippee! I DIE! I just can’t stand it!
I also looked at cribs (obviously). Let’s just say that’s so overwhelming too. Please feel free to comment with your favorite nursery ideas both decorative and resourceful. I need all the help I can get! I can’t wait for it all to come together!
