TREND FEATURE: Global Influence Spring 2014

Grab your passports, ladies! One of the biggest trends of the Spring/Summer 2014 season will give you a serious case of wanderlust with designs inspired by exotic cultures from all over the world.

We’re talking about the global influence trend that seems to have taken the runway by storm. You probably recognize it for the bright, graphic patterns, embroidered details, Aztec jewelry, fringing and beaded embellishments.

This is probably one of my absolute favorite trends for the season mainly because traveling is something that is such a huge part of my life and I love how designers are drawing their inspiration from cultures near and far. Also, it is one of the easiest trends to wear this season! Whether you incorporate this “well-traveled” look using small touches like a beaded clutch or go all out in tribal regalia with an embroidered kimono, fringe handbag and tons of jewelry, it is meant to be vastly eclectic. Make it your own, with this trend anything goes.

If you’re looking to sway to the nomadic vibes of this trend, Pursona has you covered! Here are a few of my favorite picks for you to try:
