Anyone who owns their own business or manages one will tell you the hardest part are the employees. I’ve got to tell you that I have been blessed beyond measure with some incredible girls. Sure I’ve had bad apples, but for the most part, I have had hardworking, God loving, team playing girls. Girls that want the best not only for the store, but for me. Since I don’t think it’s fair that I get to have all the fun, I decided to share what makes these girls amazing and why we all love to come to work every day. Every now and then I may have them guest blog too. The first person I will spotlight is my manager Haley Lyman.
For those of you that have been in the store, you can’t miss her. She’s tall, blonde and we are completely jealous of her. She’s always bubbly and friendly with the customers. She goes above and beyond to help anyone that comes in the store, even if they’re coming in for directions. I know that the customers are in good hands when I’m not around. If she’s not here, they ask for her.
There is NEVER a dull moment with Haley. She’s either coming up with something hysterically funny that has us all belly laughing or she’s tripping all over herself.
Haley is always willing to get the job done. She is constantly bringing ideas to the table and trying to figure out ways to make Pursona better. Now that’s an employee you want on your team.
For those of you that don’t know, Haley can sure put an outfit together. She’s got a good eye for accessorizing. She can transform a basic dress into a stylish, noteworthy outfit.
I love having her around. She makes me laugh and love how I can rely on her. Even if I’m constantly cleaning up after her, I’ll take her, wink! Thanks Haley for all you do. Thanks for making work not seem like work. You drive us cray cray, but we love you.
Here’s a few things the other girls have to say about Haley.
Katelyn: She never ceases to make us laugh. One day she came to work telling us that after her workout that morning, she got in her car and sat there for a few minutes texting. While she sat there, her passenger door opened and a homeless person got in the front seat. She jumped out of the car and started screaming and yelling. The homeless person just sat there and laughed. I will never forget that story.
Meagan: I admire her dedication to our customers and willingness to do whatever it takes to make them happy. Of course her awkwardness, clumsiness, aka her ability to always manage to trip over anything and everything has to be mentioned as well.
Elizabeth: Well, if it happens to anyone, it happens to Haley. She manages to laugh at every situation as well as make everyone around her laugh. There is rarely a dull moments with such a caring girl.
