It’s that time of the year again; pastel candies overflow the grocery store aisles, pollen is literally everywhere and the crazy weather makes it nearly impossible to figure out what to wear. Yep, Spring has definitely sprung and with spring comes one of my favorite holidays, Easter Sunday. For most of us, Easter is the same: church, spending time with family, eating our body weight in chocolate bunnies and deviled eggs, kids and adults alike vying for the golden egg, the list goes on. While Easter isn’t officially considered a fashion holiday, it is one of the few times of year when you are expected to “Dress your Sunday Best” because you know EVERYONE (calling you out Chreasters) will be coming out of the woodwork to church that day. Easter marks the perfect time to debut the season’s pretty pastels and break out the white shoes that have been in hiding since Labor Day. Let’s not forget the hats, people! Church ladies don’t mess around, you know them as the ones in head to toe matching ensemble with a hat that’s as large as their love for Jesus! Planning the perfect Easter outfit is a process and we are here to help make it easier for you. Here are some of the looks I am loving for Easter 2014.
Easter1: For all of you who prefer the comfort of a flat this scalloped edge flat by Matisse is the perfect addition to a lace shift in a striking pastel hue. Shop handbag and bangles.
Easter2:I may have a slight obsession for printed pants and this fabulous floral pair is no exception. Pair with the Sam Edelman Yazmine for a trendy twist to this classic print. Shop handbag
Easter3: Ankle strap metallic wedges by Seychelles play up the ladylike shape of this aqua peplum dress. Add a hat for good measure, just because its Easter and you can. Shop bangles here and purse here.
With all this inspiration, I have to get busy planning my outfit. What will you be wearing this Easter Sunday?
