Incase you haven’t heard or follow our Pinterest board, Pursona girls love to eat! I can remember growing up and my mom always cooking. Now that I’m an adult, I miss having her home cooked meals. You know what I’m talking about. The ones that made it seem like home. The kind that fills your belly and warms your soul. We didn’t grow up wealthy, but I always felt rich because my family showed our love thru food. Friends of my parents would come over and they would instantly ask them if they were hungry. The saying, “there’s no better love than food” is dead on.
People that truly cook, do it from the heart. They put their emotions in it. The older I get, the more I want to provide this to my family. I want my kids (easy now, in the future though) to have their soul filled. I want them to ask me for their favorites when they come home or when they are blue. I know I was lucky to have had that with my parents. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing all those ingredients come to life and witnessing loved ones enjoy the home cooked meal I have prepared them. With the world always moving so fast, it’s nice to slow down and enjoy a sit down meal together. This is when and where you get the goods from the day and life itself. I love catching up with my family so in honor of them and, I have put together a few of my favorite recipes. I am always trying to eat organically and clean. I hope you enjoy these as much as we do.
Fish is the new chicken! Try this recipe here.
